When You Are Ready to Recover

Sober Coaching

Life is full of highs and lows, and you can no longer turn to drugs or alcohol to manage the pain that comes with these peaks and valleys. You need to develop healthy, substance-free ways of coping. By partnering with one of our sober coaches, you can work toward developing these healthy habits that will serve you in your new sober life.

Coaches help you anticipate some of the ups and downs you’ll face in life, and build proper ways of responding to adversity. A new, sober life requires that you have a good mental health and you change the way you think about your problems, whether they be in your relationships with other people or in your relationship with yourself. This helps you maintain healthy relationships with yourself and your loved one in the long term. And your sober coach can help you change your mindset for the better.

Recovery doesn’t end once you leave Connecticut Sober Living Home. Sober coaches can connect you with quality support groups in your area, helping you maintain accountability and build even more positive habits. He also checks in with you, making sure you’re doing what you need to do to remain sober.
